Stainless Steel Diaphragm Coupling Diaphragm For Pump
Several sets of diaphragms (stainless steel sheets) are alternately bolted to the two coupling halves, and each set of diaphragms is formed by stacking several pieces, and the diaphragm is divided into a link type and a whole shape of different shapes. The diaphragm coupling relies on the elastic deformation of the diaphragm to compensate the relative displacement of the two shafts. It is a high-performance flexible coupling for metal strong components. It does not need oil, has a compact structure, high strength and long service life. It has no rotating gap, is not affected by temperature and oil pollution, and has the characteristics of acid resistance, alkali resistance and corrosion resistance. It is suitable for shafting transmission in high temperature, high speed and corrosive medium working conditions.
Each set of couplings is composed of a plurality of diaphragms with a thickness of 0.2-0.6 pieces, and the outer edges of the sheets are elastic with a circular arc shape, and the shape is simple, the processing is convenient, the construction period is reduced, and the number of sides is small. Elasticity is better than the number of sides and the stability is good.
Compared with the toothed coupling, the coupling diaphragm has no relative sliding, no lubrication, no sealing, no noise, no maintenance, and is easy to manufacture. It can partially replace the gear coupling. Diaphragm couplings are common in industrial applications in the industrial world.

Use and maintenance:
First of all, before installation, the end faces of the two axles should be cleaned and the end bonding cooperation checked.
Secondly, after installing the diaphragm coupling, if normal operation, all the screws must be checked. If loosening is found, it must be tightened, so several classes can be repeated to ensure that it does not loosen.
Thirdly, in order to prevent fretting wear and high-speed operation of diaphragm, leading to micro-cracks in bolt holes, the diaphragm can be coated with solid lubricants, such as molybdenum disulfide or antiwear coating on the surface of the diaphragm.
Fourth, overloading and accidents should be avoided.
Fifth, in the process of working, it is necessary to check the abnormal phenomena of diaphragm coupling, such as abnormal phenomena and maintenance.
Sixth, appropriate safety measures must be taken in every place where personal and equipment accidents may occur due to diaphragm coupling.
