High Head Circulating Heavy Duty Industrial Water Pump For Solid Particles Slurry
PNJB series pumps are single - stage, single suction, centrifugal rubber lined pump, which can transport all kinds of solid particles slurry containing no sharp pulp. The maximum concentration of slurry is less than 65%( weight ), and temperature is not exceeding 60 degrees.
Material
According to different applications, the shaft of PNJB, PNJF pump is made of high quality carbon steel, nickel chromium steel. The liner is made of wear-resistant rubber, acid resistant rubber and steel plate. The impeller is made of cast steel framework and wear-resistant rubber outer lining.
Seal systems
PNJ and PNJF pumps have two different seal forms, packing seal and expeller seal. Generally, we supply packing seal pump. You should note clearly when you order if you select expeller seal pump. The height of
suction which adopts expeller seal is not more than 5 meter.

How does a slurry pump work
A centrifugal pump works by the conversion of the rotational kinetic energy, typically from an electric motor or turbine, to an increased static fluid pressure. This action is described by Bernoulli's principle. The rotation of the pump impeller imparts kinetic energy to the fluid as it is drawn in from the impeller eye (centre) and is forced outward through the impeller vanes to the periphery. As the fluid exits the impeller, the fluid kinetic energy (velocity) is then converted to (static) pressure due to the change in area the fluid experiences in the volute section.
Typically the volute shape of the pump casing (increasing in volume), or the diffuser vanes (which serve to slow the fluid, converting to kinetic energy in to flow work) are responsible for the energy conversion. The energy conversion results in an increased pressure on the downstream side of the pump, causing flow.
